General “Mad Dog” Mattis is one of the few people in the Trump administration that almost everyone agrees on. Even the purple-haired “#resist” antifa feminists don’t have much to complain about with him. When we break it down there really just isn’t much to dislike about the guy. He has served this country honorably for over 40 years, he undoubtedly wants nothing more than to keep Americans safe, and he is completely scandal-free.
Mattis isn’t one to mess around. I mean, we’re talking about the guy who literally said “there is nothing better than getting shot at and missed. It’s really great.” The guy is a marine who’s nickname is Mad Dog. Think about that for a second. The nicknames that go around the marines are usually like “squirt”.
For some time Kim Jung Un has been making threats towards the United States. Most of them, however, were not during the reign of Mad Dog as defense secretary. Recently threats from North Korea have gotten intense with South Korean Media claiming the psycho dictator plans on firing missiles at Guam. Mattis, neither scared nor phased, had this to say:
The United States and our allies have the demonstrated capabilities and unquestionable commitment to defend ourselves from an attack. Kim Jong Un should take heed of the United Nations Security Council’s unified voice, and statements from governments the world over, who agree the DPRK [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea] poses a threat to global security and stability. The DPRK must choose to stop isolating itself and stand down its pursuit of nuclear weapons. The DPRK should cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and the destruction of its people.
“The DPRK should cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and the destruction of its people” has to be one of the most chilling threats the US government has issued in decades. The United States has, by far, the most powerful military in the history of the world and he is pretty damn proud of it. Not only that, it adds to the list of legendary quotes Mad Dog has already made to show he isn’t playing around. Some of his best:
“The first time you blow someone away is not an insignificant event. That said, there are some assholes in the world that just need to be shot.”
“I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you f**k with me, I’ll kill you all.”
“You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn’t wear a veil. You know, guys like that ain’t got no manhood left anyway. So it’s a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them. Actually it’s quite fun to fight them, you know. It’s a hell of a hoot. It’s fun to shoot some people. I’ll be right up there with you. I like brawling.”
Mr. Kim Jong Un, welcome to the Trump administration.
